Mid 80's. One of my favorite photos. Muhammad Ali was a hero to me. It was a thrill to meet him on the lot while working for Golden West Broadcasters/KTLA.
I was stage manager on Andy Kaufman's last TV show, The Top
"The Top" aired on January 27th 1984. Andy Kaufman died a few months later on May 16th 1984.
Phil Donahue & Me
Because I worked on a large (10 stages) TV lot, there were dozens of shows being shot every week. Variety shows (The Toni Tenille Show, Dinah Shore, The Mike Douglas Show etc.) brought all sorts of celebrities. This is me and the great Phil Donahue, Talk Show Legend.
On the set of "WKRP in Cincinnatti"
This is me on the DJ studio set from one of the most popular sitcoms of the 80"s. This is where Johnny Fever (Howard Hesseman) created his magic. I worked for a while as a prop assistant.
Me and The Candy Man, Sammy Davis Jr.
Jon Bauman (Bowzer), of Sha Na Na and Me with a mustache!
